Look of the Day: Inglot #2

Hi, everyone! You may have noticed that the blog has been a little Inglot-centric lately, but I can't help but gush about the new Inglot Toronto Store and all of the pretty items I hauled after the recent shop opening. My last post was the first installment in an Inglot Look of the Day series, and today's post brings you a second!

This look is all about metallic green and golden eyes, shimmery coral contoured cheeks, and a natural lip. I find it to be another fun Summer-to-Fall sort of look, as I was inspired by both lush, tropical locales as well as autumn woodsy tones. Either way, the look is warm, subtly smokey, and chock-full of my new Inglot goodies!

For the eyes, I started by applying Inglot Pearl Eye Shadow #414 all over my lid, blending up to the crease. #414 is a gorgeous metallic mossy green with a subtle brownish duochrome. Super unique! I blended out the crease by adding some of Inglot Shine Eye Shadow #49 (a warm, olive gold) and popped some of #49 along my lower lash line for some extra contrast. I finished with a neutral deep brown liner on my upper lash line and lower waterline and a couple coats of volumizing waterproof mascara (Revlon Lash Potion Waterproof- one of the best drugstore mascaras I've tried!).

For the cheeks, I started by applying some of Inglot HD Sculpting Powder #504, a pale cool taupe brown, along my cheek bones to contour. It's ultra subtle and really can't be overdone! Works wonderfully on my fair skin. I next pulled out my Inglot Fusion Blush & Illuminator #203, which is a pretty semi-matte coral blush with a corresponding peachy gold highlighter. I applied the blush to the apples of my cheeks, blending upwards, and tapped the illuminating shade on my cheekbones for a touch of glow.

As you can see, the HD Scultping Powder shapes my cheeks ever so slightly (it blends like a dream, which makes it so subtle) and the Fusion Blush &Illuminator gives the prettiest glow! Plus the colour really wears all day- still looked perfect in the evening time :)

The Breakdown:

Foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in 10 Beige
Concealer: BeneFit Fake-Up in Light (under eyes) and MAC Select Cover-Up NC20 (on blemishes and redness)
Powder: Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot (lightly on t-zone) and Inglot Illuminizing Pressed Powder #402 (all over)

Contour: Inglot HD Sculpting Powder #504

Blush: Inglot Fusion Blush & Illuminator #203

Brows: Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Taupe and Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel
Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion Original Formula
Eye Shadows: Inglot Eye Shadow Pearl Eye Shadow #414 (applied all over lid, blended up to the crease) and Shine Eye Shadow #49 (blended in the crease and smudged along the lower lash line), Laura Mercier Sandstone eye shadow (as a highlight on brow bone and inner corners)

Eyeliner: Clinique Quickliner Intense for Eyes in Intense Chocolate (on top lash line and lightly on lower waterline)
Mascara: Revlon Lash Potion Waterproof Mascara in Black

Lips: Milani Colour Statement Lipstick in Naturally Chic

And a few more shots of the look:

Once again, my new Inglot products have not disappointed. I likely sound like a broken record at this point, but I feel the need to reiterate that the shades are beautifully pigmented, blend like a dream, and wear flawlessly all day! I think that the HD Sculpting Powder #504 is going to be perfect for my super fair winter skin (as it's even more subtle than my Kevin Aucoin Sculpting Powder) and the Pearl Eye Shadow #414 will be a perfect festive shade over the holiday season- which is sneaking up, eek!

Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend :)
