The reason I couldn't help but swipe on a bold lip was because I had my new Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets to test out. For this look, I opted for Frambourjoise, a warm reddened berry shade. I'm so in love with this lip colour! I can see it being perfect year-round, and especially during the colder months when a rich shade like this will feel right at home. To complement Frambourjoise, I pulled out one of my favourite warm pinky berry blushes, Sleek Blush in Flamingo.
As I mentioned, the eyes were all about showcasing my new Chanel Les 4 Ombres in Tisse Rivoli, which features absolutely gorgeous shades of copper, golden, and plum-tinged neutrals. I applied the warm golden base shade all over my lid as well as over the crease as a transition. I swept the neutral brown shade on the crease and lightly on the lower lash line to shape the eye. I then applied the deep plummy shade on the outer corner and the upper lash line for extra definition. Finally, I popped touches of the pale ivory shade as a highlight on my brow bone and the inner corners of my eye. And, voila!
The Breakdown:
Foundation: Revlon ColourStay Liquid Makeup (Combination/Oily Formula) in Buff
Concealer: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place High Cover Concealer in W1

Eye Shadows: (from the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Tisse Rivoli quad): golden copper shade all over the lid and above crease, brown/taupe shade in the crease, dark plummy brown shade lightly on outer corner and as liner along upper lash line, ivory shade as highlight on brow bone and inner corners

And a few more shots of the look:
This look holds a special place in my makeup-soaked heart because it represents an official welcome to Fall and showcases two of my new favourite products. Tisse Rivoli and Frambourjoise have become instant staples that I plan to wear all season long!
What are your new favourite Fall staples?
Thanks for taking a peek! xo

ReplyDeleteOkay, now I think I need to add Frambourjoise to my collection of Bourjois Rouge Editions. I have Pink Pong and the Red ones which I forget the name of at the moment, and they would both be so happy if their pretty sister Frambourjoise joined them.
