Hi, everyone! Today marks an important annual commemoration- World AIDS Day. It is recognized to honour those who have succumbed to the disease, the millions who continue to live with HIV/AIDS today, and the modern researchers and advocates working tirelessly towards a cure and to better the lives of patients and their loved ones. It's also a celebration of the bold, resilient spirit of the HIV/AIDS community, one that continues to rise so resiliently against ignorance and stigma. In the beauty world, there is no brand that does more for the cause than MAC, whose longstanding Viva Glam range creates bold, beautiful lip products whose proceeds (100% of the selling price, in fact) go to the MAC AIDS Fund. The cause financially supports charities and communties locally and globally, particularly in areas that are under-serviced and under-funded. DeleteI only just learned that MAC donates the money from the Viva glam sales like a week ago! This makes me want to actually start buying some as they come out since they're super pretty and it's also for a good cause! Viva glam V and the Ariana lip glass looks so pretty!!!

DeleteI love that MAC has been doing this project for as long as I can remember. Good on them for being right up front with it in days when it wasn't necessarily the easiest thing to advertise.
