This look of the day is one I put together recently for a night out to celebrate my sister's birthday. I wanted something with a bit of impact, but that still looked natural and fresh. I opted for a palette of pinks and roses, as these shades tend to effortlessly brighten up my face. I was happy with the results!
The two stars of this look were MAC Mineralize Blush in Dainty (one of my all-time favourite blushes) and Chantecaille Lip Chic in Amaryllis. Dainty is a lovely, versatile pink-toned blush with hints of peach and subtle gold shimmer. It is so incredibly flattering and the texture is exceptionally smooth and soft! Amaryllis is one of my recent splurges (and my first ever Lip Chic!). It offers a bright, warm rose hue with reddish undertones. It leaves lips colour-drenched and moisturized and is a great option for those who want to wear bright lipstick but don't like blue-based fuchsias or super opaque formulas. It's fantastic!

Deleteevery time i come on here i want to go to my bathroom and play with my makeup. you always give me inspirations- like this pink look. i love how vibrantly pink the cheeks and lips are. i always want to try it out but feel like most of my outfits are too loud to give such pops of color to the face haha. i'm definitely doing it when i do an all grey or black look
ReplyDeleteAww, that's so nice of you to say, Marlen! I'm so glad I've inspired you to play with makeup- that's really the main purpose of this blog! :)
