I was saddened this morning to hear about the death of Elizabeth Taylor. She was known for her violet eyes, her Oscar wins, and her many (many!) marriages. In addition, she was a true beauty icon and eventually a cosmetics mogul in her own right. She was also a strong proponent of AIDS research, which was a cause she supported into her later years.
