Hi, everyone! If you peeked at my last post, you'll know that I've taken on quite the undertaking. I've organized my entire lipstick/gloss/stain/butter collection by colour family and am swatching each and every one for you! I really wanted to appreciate my stash and weed out unnecessary dupes and thought that documenting the process would be lots of fun. So far, it's been just that!
The inaugural Lip Stash by Hue post was all about Bright Pinks and today's installment features the range of purple lip products in my collection. The selection isn't massive, but contains a nice range of sheer grapes to bold magentas:

Overall, I am so, so happy with my purple lip stash! It's one I've only grown over the past couple of years and I think I've curated a nicely balanced collection. It's got a mix of matte, gloss, sheer, and opaque formulas with a range of warm and cool, bold and wearable shades. While I'm not eager to really expand this corner of my collection (as I don't tend to reach for purples on an everyday basis), I'm most definitely keeping them all. Each is truly unique!

I wish I could wear purple shades on the lips (I'm more comfortable with them on the eyes!) like you. I love the look of Lime Crime Velvetine in Utopia. I think the matte finish is quite modern.

I have and love MAC Heroine! I have a matching Lip Glass as well. :D That Illamasqua Fierce is... fierce! Is it my eye or does it leave pink edges all around the lips? Pretty cool! :)

I have 6 shades of Revlon matte balms but I skipped Shameless as I am afraid of how dark it is. But it sure looks pretty on you, might pick it up this weekend.
