Life Recently #4

Happy  hump day, y'all! Time for the fourth installment of "Life Recently", posts that give you a peek into my (mostly) non-makeup-related world. This means shots of yummy food, cute animals, new acquisitions, and beautiful sites around Toronto. To see my previous entries of Life Recently, see here, here, and here!

Enjoy, and be warned- the post is pretty photo-heavy!

The atrium of the TD Building at Front and Bay in Toronto. Walking through it is always a lovely, sunny experience!

Incredible berry scone and coffee at a new cafe in my neighbourhood, Ella's Uncle. So tasty and the perfect spot to people watch!

Brand new earrings I picked up from one of my favourite shops, Coal Miner's Daughter. Pretty golden leaves!

Photo of me at a birthday party, circa 1992. With Raphael, face painted like my favourite, Michelangelo. Jealous?! ;)
And thanks to my friend Ainsley for making the super awesome magnet!

This amazing creature is named Clarence. He's cranky and incredibly snuggly. He's my former roommate's cat, so we were housemates for a couple years, a few years back. Visited my friend (his mommy) over the weekend. Always nice to see him!

The same friend also got a new doggie named Ruby. I'm in love with her! I'm a sucker for an under-bite :)

Enjoying a coffee in Nathan Phillips Square, in front of Toronto City Hall. One of the first warm, sunny days of the year!

If you saw my Facebook Page a few weeks ago, you'll know that I went on a bit of a drugstore makeup brush haul. All of them are so good!

A closer-up view of Toronto City Hall. Definitely a unique design! And loving the clear blue sky :)

It was April! Which means another quirky page on my desk calendar! I never know how to describe what's happening in the illustrations, and that's why I love it :)

I recently purchased Revlon Moon Candy Nail Enamel in Galactic. Photos don't do it justice, but the effect is really incredible! Full review soon :)

And that's it! Hope you enjoyed a little peek into my life. What have you been up to over the past month?

Cheers! xo

  11. I agree! The atrium really is like a piece of art. And getting new earrings really is such a treat! Not something I do often, so it really did feel special :) And glad you liked my Ninja Turtles photo! Really takes me back to the '90s :)
