Look of the Day: Inglot #1

Hi, everyone! If you've seen my past few posts, you'll know that I recently attended an event at the brand new Inglot Toronto store and that I brought home quite a few goodies with me on the day. I've had tons of fun playing with my selections, so I thought I'd share a little series of makeup looks that I've put together with my new Inglot wares.

Today's look is all about warm shimmery eyes with a pop of turquoise and flushed, tawny cheeks. Touches of summer, while still embracing some richer Autumn-ready shades.

For the eyes, I started with Inglot Eye Shadow Shine #49, a gorgeous antique olive-tinged gold. I applied it all over my lid, blending it up to the crease. For added depth, I swept Inglot Eye Shadow Double Sparkle #457, a shimmery chocolate brown, on my crease and the outer corner of the eye. To spice things up a bit, I ran Inglot Eyeliner #527 along my lower lash line. It's such a fun, fabulous teal shade, that's actually amazingly wearable when smudged under the eye. And it lasted all day long!

For the complexion, I topped my foundation and concealer with Inglot's Illuminizing Pressed Powder #402, which is a neutral beige with fine, subtle shimmer particles. I actually find the shimmer to be so muted that it doesn't quite work as a highlighter. Instead, I've been dusting it all over for a soft, glowy finish! For the cheeks, I opted for the most gorgeous shade of blush for Fall. Inglot Face Blush #25 is a warm, peach-soaked brown that gives the healthiest tawny flush. I fell hopelessly smitten at first stroke!

As for lips (this may be a first), I kept my pout completely bare. Thought I'd let my eyes and cheeks do the talking for a change!

The Breakdown:

Foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in 10 Beige
Concealer: BeneFit Fake-Up in Light (under eyes) and MAC Select Cover-Up NC20 (on blemishes and redness)
Powder: Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot (lightly on t-zone) and Inglot Illuminizing Pressed Powder #402 (all over)

Bronzer: Essence Beach Cruisers Bronzer in Life's A Beach

Highlighter: BeneFit Watt's Up
Blush: Inglot Face Blush #25

Brows: Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Taupe and Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel
Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion Original Formula
Eye Shadows: Inglot Eye Shadow Shine #49 (all over lid) and Eye Shadow Double Sparkle #457 (on crease and outer corner), The Body Shop Colour Crush eye shadow in Oh, Honey (as a highlight on brow bone and inner corners)

Eyeliner: Clinique Quickliner Intense for Eyes in Intense Chocolate (on top lash line), Inglot Eyeliner #527 (on lower lash line)
Mascara: Revlon Lash Potion Waterproof Mascara in Black

Lips: Nada!

And a few more shots of the look:

When it comes to Inglot, you can totally colour me lovestruck. The pigmentation of the products is top-notch and the blendability is phenomenal. I have found the Shine #49 Eye Shadow (the olive gold shade) and Face Blush #25 to be totally unique in my collection and especially stunning. And I'm definitely more apt to pop some teal liner into my repertoire- #527 is worth it!

Are any of these shades calling to you? What are your favourite colours when transitioning from Summer to Fall?

Look out for more Inglot Looks of the Day coming soon :)
