Inglot Toronto Haul!

Hi, everyone! Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the Inglot Toronto Beauty Blogger preview event and I couldn't have been more thrilled. I'm a huge fan of the brand and the opportunity to peek at, swatch, and play with the wares before the store opened was beyond exciting. In all of my fervour, I may have picked up thirteen a few goodies, so I thought I'd share them with you here today! Inglot products are absolutely top-notch, especially for the price, so I was ultra eager to delve in!

I came home with a pretty stuffed bag of goods, when all laid out looked like a proper haul indeed! All of the products are packaged in sleek black cardboard boxes with minimal white labels:

The first part of the haul may perhaps be the least exciting, but is still an essential element- the palettes set to house the makeup goodies I got! There are an amazing selection of Freedom System palettes available and I opted for the 5-pan shadow palette and the 4-pan cheek colour palette, as well as a round compact for the face powder I snagged. Here they are, just begging to be filled with colour!

Next, all of the colour products I purchased. As you can see, they come individually wrapped in plastic coverings. You have to snip them out to set them free, which is it a bit of an arduous, frustrating process (at least as makeup tasks go). I do wish they were a bit easier to open, but the handiness of the final palette packaging makes up for it.

Now, onto the colour! Up first are the five shadows I selected. I didn't go in with a plan or colour scheme in mind, but I eventually gravitated towards warm-toned earthy neutrals and jewel-tones with shimmery, sparkly finishes. Perfect shades for Fall, I'd say!

I picked up:

Eye Shadow Shine #49 (softly metallic antique olive-toned gold)
Eye Shadow Pearl #414 (shimmery  metallic forest green with brown duochrome)
Eye Shadow Double Sparkle #457 (neutral mid-tone brown with gold sparkle)
Eye Shadow Double Sparkle #459 (mid-to-deep cool taupe with silver sparkle)
Eye Shadow Double Sparkle #494 (rich royal eggplant purple with golden shimmer)

I've swatched them below on my inner arm (MAC NC15 skin tone):

(L-R): Eye Shadows Shine 49, Pearl 414, Double Sparkle 457, Double Sparkle 459, Double Sparkle 494

I also picked up some amazing blush and contour shades. My blush stash is plentiful, so I really went on the hunt for colours that would prove unique among my collection. I also unexpectedly fell smitten with an ultra natural contour powder. It was love at first sight!

I chose:

Face Blush #54 (cool-toned mauve with silver sparkle)
Face Blush #25 (warm tawny peach with a subtle sheen)
Fusion Blush & Illuminator #203 (warm peachy coral with soft shimmer and a shimmery golden peach highlighter)
HD Sculpting Powder #504 (soft matte cool brown)

I've swatched them below on my inner arm (MAC NC15 skin tone):

(L-R): Face Blush #54, Face Blush #25, Fusion Blush & Illuminator #203, HD Sculpting Powder #504

Finally, I snagged my first-ever non-Freedom System goodies from the brand. I was totally wowed by a glowy setting powder and was instantly mesmerized by a gorgeous liner.

I selected:

HD Illuminizing Pressed Powder #402 (neutral beige with a subtly glowy finish)
Eyeliner #527 (shimmery teal)

Here they are swatched on my inner arm  (MAC NC15 skin tone):

I'm so grateful for  having been invited to the Inglot Toronto Beauty Bloggers preview event and it's been a total pleasure delving into the goodies I took home from the event. The textures are dreamy, the shades are bold, yet wearable, and, as the top photo demonstrates, they fit so perfectly into their palettes! A thing of beauty, really.

Have you ever tried any products from Inglot? Have I tempted you with any of the shades featured here?

Thanks for stopping by! xo
