Look of the Day: Glamour, Down Under

Hi, everyone! It's time for the second installment of my Australian drugstore makeup Look of the Day series, featuring the lovely Down Under goodies I received in a recent international swap. It's been such a pleasure trying everything out! Today's look focuses on shimmery, subtly sultry lids and a full-on cool red lip!

For the eyes, I used the amazing Chi Chi Glamorous Nudes eye shadow palette, a Naked Palette dupe that's quality is top-notch. I focused on the right side of the palette, which features deep, shimmery cool browns and greys. They blend so nicely! I added touches of gold and champagne to add some light to the look.

On the lips is a stunning new lipstick from the Australian brand, Ulta 3. Cherry Wine is a gorgeous full-bodied, satiny cool berry red that is perfect for a bold, but totally wearable pout. The formula leaves lips slick and comfortable and the wear time is impressive! Since the lips and eyes were on the bolder side, I opted for a subtle nude cheek, courtesy of Australis Blush in Sand Dune.

Here's a shot of the Australian drugstore products I used in this look:

And a full breakdown of everything I used!

Foundation: Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in Shade 10 Beige
Concealer: BeneFit Fake-Up in Light (under eyes) and MAC Select Cover-Up in NC20 (on blemishes and redness)
Powder: MAC Blot Powder in Medium
Contour: Kevin Aucoin The Sculpting Powder in Medium

Blush: Australis Blush in Sand Dune

Brows: Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Taupe and Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Caramel
Eye Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original
Eye Shadow: Chi Chi Glamorous Nudes eye shadow palette (using the cooler greys and taupes from the palette)

Eyeliner: shimmery black shadow from the Glamorous Nudes palette
Mascara: d.j.v. Beautinizer Volume Lash

Lipstick: Ulta 3 Lipstick in Cherry Wine

And a few more shots of the look:

So there you have it- my second Australian drugstore makeup Look of the Day. For me, this is the perfect look to add a bit of glamour to your everyday makeup. It's sultry where it needs to be, yet balanced enough to wear to the office. And I did!

Thanks again to Leah for sending me these amazing goodies! Look out for the third and final installment of this series on Thursday! xo

Cheers :)
