Hi, everyone! If you've been reading the fine print of my posts lately or are connected with me via Facebook, you'll know that I've been back to visit my hometown a few times over the past month. Visiting family is always a treat, but that experience has only multiplied since I became an auntie. I know people say this all the time, but I didn't know I could love a little creature just that much until I met my niece. She's utterly perfect! (I know I'm biased, but still...). Instead of bragging about just how cool little Lily is for several paragraphs (I seriously could), I thought I'd share some of my favourite photos of her from the last month and a half. Try not to smile :)

Any of you aunties out there (especially first-time aunties like me) know how I'm feeling. I am fully smitten and obsessed! I'm not sure when I'll be heading home next, but there will definitely be tons of baby Skype in the meantime :)

She is so cute! I love her fluffy hair, how adorable. She looks like a very happy baby! I became an aunt when I was 8 years old (my brothers are much older than I), and he just turned 20. It was neat to grow up with a nephew so close in age to me. :) I now have some nieces who are 10 and 7 years old. Time flies by!

Deleteokay, she is so stinking cute and is definitely cooler than me! My brother is significantly younger than me, he's only 14, so hopefully no nieces or nephews anytime soon! My aunt is one of the closest family members to me and I know you and Lily will have a great bond too :)
