Lip Stash by Hue: The Bright Pinks

Hi, everyone! If you saw my Facebook photos over the weekend or perhaps my recent Makeup Addict Tag, you'll know that this past Saturday began with a mountain of lipsticks sprawled out on my bed. While I was tempted to simply swim in them admire them all day, this pile of lip products had a purpose. It was my goal to sort my entire stash by colour family- and I did just that! It took all afternoon, but was actually incredibly fun. Though the underlying purpose of this process is to weed out dupes that I might sell or swap, I thought it would also be the perfect opportunity to share my lipstick collection with you! 

So today's post marks the first in my Lip Stash By Hue series, which will swatch each and every one of my lippies based on shade. I decided to start with a bang. Perhaps my most-loved lip shade is bright pink. Those bold, saturated pinks, some nearly neon, others tinged with corals. These lipsticks aren't fuchsias (I will have a separate post for my blue-based pinks), but rather lean slightly warmer. 

Given that bright pinks hold a special place in my heart, it's no surprise (at least to me), that I own 12 shades that fall into this category:

So there you have it! All of the neutral to warm bright pinks in my stash! To the untrained eye (e.g., my boyfriend's) these may all look identical, while to a bright pink lipstick fiend (i.e., me), each is subtly different and beautifully unique. The truth likely lies somewhere in between, and I just may aim to trim a few out of my stash. A blog sale soon, perhaps??
