Look of the Day: Pink Pong

Hi, everyone! Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend! Today's Look of the Day features two lovely products that I snagged in my Most Satisfying Haul Ever- the soft, elegant Clarins Ombre Matte in Rosewood and the vibrant Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Pink Pong. I really liked the pairing of these two matte formulas- one on the subtle side, the other, much bolder. A fun contrast! 

Since the eyes and lips are primarily matte, I opted for glowy skin and luminous cheeks. I evened out my complexion with the amazing Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in B10, topping it with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light for some extra glow. For blush, I used the fresh, rosy Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Radiant Magenta. It's one of my all-time faves! 

On the eyes, I applied Clarins Ombre Matte in Rosewood all over the lid, focusing it on the crease and outer corner, with subtle pops of Laura Mercier Sandstone eye shadow on brow bones and inner corners of the eyes as a highlight. I finished off the eyes with my staple brown liner, Clinique Quickliner Intense in Intense Chocolate and a generous helping of Revlon Lash Potion Waterproof mascara. 

And the lips are all about Pink Pong! It's the most gorgeous matte, cool-toned fuchsia. Although it screams Summer, I plan to wear it all year long!

Mascara: Revlon Lash Potion Waterproof Mascara in Black

I really had a lot of fun with this look! I'm thrilled to finally have Pink Pong in my stash and it was great to play with contrasting textures and finishes. I love makeup that combines matte and luminous elements, so it was nice to highlight that mix here!
