Look of the Day: Korean Candy

Hey, everyone! Today's Look of the Day features rich hues of peach and coral, which are so fun to wear during the warmer summer months. Anytime, really, but especially now! The title of this look comes from one of the best summery lipsticks out there, MAC's Supreme Sheen Lipstick in Korean Candy. It's a warm tomato orange shade with shiny finish and  super moisturizing formula. The shade can be worn semi-sheer or be built up to full opacity, depending how intense you like your orange lipstick! To see Korean Candy photographed and swatched, click here!

To keep with the "Korean" theme, I paired the bold lip with one of the newest and definitely the most adorable blush in my collection, It's Skin Babyface Petit Blusher #4. I received the blush in a super fun and thoughtful care package full of Korean cosmetics and was so happy to finally give it a go. It's a sheer, matte warm peach that needed a bit of layering to reach my desired intensity, but it was worth the extra work!

To punch things up a bit more, I added a small amount of Make Up For Ever Powder Blush #74 (a warm, matte coral) on the apples of my cheeks only. To finish the look I added a wash of ivory eye shadow (MAC Ricepaper) and winged-out dark brown liner (my trusty Tarte smolderEYES Amazonian Clay Waterproof Liner in Brown). I topped things off with MAC Blot Powder in Medium to keep shine at bay and, voila, one of my favourite go-to summer looks!

Here's a full breakdown of the products I used to create the look:
