Veracious Product Review: Muppets for O.P.I. in Rainbow Connection

So this post is way overdue (about two months in the making), but better late than never!

One of the collections I was most excited about in late fall 2011 was the quirky and colourful Muppets for O.P.I. nail polish release. I mean, not only was this a combination of makeup and my beloved Muppet characters, but the collection offered a wide array of playful, trendy, eye-catching colours.

Although I picked up a few shades (including ones called Warm and Fozzie and Excuse Moi!), the one I'm reviewing here is my favourite among them. Rainbow Connection is a mixture of rainbow-coloured sparkles (mainly pinks, greens, reds, and silver) in a clear base. It was a perfect option for a festive look over the holiday season! To give it some pop, I layered it over MAC Nail Lacquer in Immortal Gold, a gilded patina shade.

Luckily, despite the belated nature of this post, the Muppets for O.P.I. collection is still available at many drug stores and salons. I spotted them at Trade Secrets just this week! So if you have an affinity for colourful nails (and a soft spot for Kermit and company), check these out! :)
